Niagara Falls, New York
Niagara Falls is both a city in Niagara County, and also the name for their most famous landmark – and one of Americans most famous landmarks. Located in the state of New York the Niagara River leads to the Niagara Falls. These share borders with the Canadian Falls of the same name, located in the state of Ontario. Niagara Falls State Park contains the American Falls, the Bridal Veil Falls, and part of the Canadian Falls it is also the oldest state park in the United States. The Niagara Reservation was declared an American National Historic Landmark in 1963.
Niagara park offers tourists with many options, such as museums, restaurants, a movie theater, gift shops, hiking, nature trails, and fishing. Internally, American viewers of the Today Show voted Niagara Falls the 10th most beautiful spot in America.
