The General George Patton Museum is located here on the grounds of Fort Knox, within you can find the history of the Cavalry, Armored forces, and of General Patton’s career. It currently holds the Army Human Resources Center of Excellence which includes the Army Human Resources Command, United States Army Cadet Command and the United States Army Accessions Command.

There are current efforts to raise money for building a new General George Patton Museum building. During this time you can still visit, and find out more about American military history (Cavalry and Armor exhibits are being packed-out and the building undergoes renovation). The General Patton Collection still exhibits his West Point swords, ivory-handled pistols, Olympic medals, original Mobile HQ van, Cadillac staff car and more.
